The NAG, When combing with other detection indicators (such as seminal plasma fructose), may perform the topical diagnosis for the obstructive site of patients with obstructive azoospermia. The neutral alpha-glucosidase in seminal plasma is one of evaluation indicators of epididymis secretory function, and it is more specific and sensitive comparing with other evaluation indicators including L-Carnitine and glyceropho-sphocholine. As the sperm maturation occurs in the epididymis, the decline of epididymis secretory function may make adverse effect on the sperm motility and functions.
【Main compositions】
Substrate 2 vials lyophilized powder
Carbonate Buffer solution with 0.25% pnitrophenol glucopyranoside
Castanospermine 1 vial lyophilized powder 1mg/5.3ml
Specimen diluent 1 vial 15ml 1% Sodium dodecyl sulfate （SDS）
Standard solution 1 vial 5ml 0 umol/L, 0.5umol/L, 1.2umol/L and
4umol/L PNP included in 0.4% Sodiun hydroxide
Stop solution 1 vial 15ml 0.4% Sodiun hydroxide soulution
Substrate lyophilized powder dissolving solution 1vial 10ml 1.753% Sodium chlorideand 1% Glycine

【Storage conditions and duration】
1. Storage conditions
1) The microplate strip should be stored at the room temperature.
2) The kit should be kept out of sun and stored at the temperature of 2-8° C.
3) The redissolved castanospermine and substrate lyophilized powder should be stored at -20° C after being subpackaged.
2. Duration:
1) The kit should be stored at the temperature of 2-8° C, with a use life of one year. Once unsealed, the kit would be kept for 45 days at 2-8° C.
2) The dissolved substrate lyophilized powder should be placed away from sun at 2-8° C, with a shelf life of 2 weeks; and separately store the castanospermine and substrate lyophilized powder at -20° C, and the use life is the same as that of kit.
